How can SCT help you?

Get Involved in Your Community

How can we help you?

Sleat Community Trust exists to help improve the lives of those who live in our Community.

How can we help?

All our Projects are Volunteer led, with the Trust providing both financial and administrative support.

We are always interested to hear about new ideas about what we can do to help improve our local environment and facilities. The Trust has access to limited funds to directly support a project, or can help facilitate grant applications.

Our most recent projects include Ardvasar Playpark Renewal, Tormore Forest tree protectors, Broadford Youth Club, South Skye Moorings Association, and the South Skye Table Tennis Group.

Here are some of the ways we can assist:

  • Grant Funding
SCT administers the Community Benefit Fund which receives funds from Sleat Hydro Community Benefit Society.
We also receive various other donations for distribution to the community as the SCT Board sees fit.
  • Volunteer Resourcing.
We can publicise your project locally, and get the word out to other members of the community who may be willing to join in and support it.
  • Support.
As a recognised Community Development Trust, we can provide support Admin support, and assist with grant applications.
